Llantysilio is a late medieval church with Georgian and Victorian restorations.

The Ladies of Llangollen would often walk here to the English service,

which was usually on the third Sunday of the month.

It is just a short walk to the Horseshoe Falls, constructed by Thomas Telford c.1808,

to direct water from the Dee into the canal.
