Victoria Promenade

The Victoria Promenade is a delightful walk bordering the River Dee.

It was opened in 1897 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria

and became very popular with locals and visitors alike.

Summer Sunday evenings saw groups of young people dressed in their best promenading up and down.

It also lead to the children's play park, bandstand, café and picnic area.

Aldi and Home bargains can also be accessed along the promenade.
